I received a call from a local shelter telling me a family needed a new home for their dog and if one could not be found, they were bringing him to the shelter. The shelter put the family in contact with me and I agreed to meet Ziggy. The reason they needed to give Ziggy up was that no one was home much, and Ziggy was spending many long hours alone, bored and frustrated. So, I agreed to take Ziggy and find him a new home where someone is home with him more. We were told Ziggy has separation anxiety but according to the foster home, Ziggy is a sweet calm boy and doesn’t show signs of separation anxiety.
Ziggy is a nice laid back boy. He loves attention and just wants to be loved. He loves going for walks. He thinks he’s a lap dog and loves being close to his people. He’s interested in toys but not quite sure what to do with them. He’s still learning how to be a normal happy dog. He is housebroken.
Ziggy would do great as an only dog. If he has another friend, it should be another calm, older dog. He does not like having puppies getting in his face or trying to play with him. He’d just rather chill. He is not a high energy dog.
Ziggy is up to date on shots, neutered and micro chipped.
