This handsome little guy is Zero. He is a puppy and exhibits all the behaviors of a typical puppy except he’s deaf. He is always wanting to play or sleep in your lap. He is very easy going and not afraid of anything. He loves toys, treats and walks.
Zero is not housebroken, he uses the pee pads inside but can poop anywhere in the house, so he definitely needs some training. This is a bit more difficult with a deaf dog so people need to keep that in mind. He will not respond to the normal corrections since he can’t hear. His housebreaking is improving but still needs work.
Zero loves to play with other pups and has no problem with big dogs. He might be best in a home with a friend. He does bark if he sees a rabbit or some critter in his yard. He does not bark at noises so would be ok in an apartment.
Due to Zero’s white color and light nose, he needs skin protection and cannot be left outside in the sun for long periods or he could get skin cancer, especially on his light nose.
Living with a deaf dog can be challenging so I would actually prefer a home with experience with a deaf dog or a person who is hearing impaired and is used to hand signs.
Zero is recently neutered, up to date on shots and micro chipped.
