​Yogi is an affectionate, gentle natured boy. He is the biggest lap dog and just wants to be held, cuddled and petted by his people. If you want a dog who will happily snuggle up on the couch with you all day long then Yogi is the perfect match for you. He is not high energy or playful, he is not interested in playing with toys or with other dogs - he is just a snuggle bug! Yogi is friendly with people and other dogs but he is not particularly interested in them, he just wants the one or two people that he has bonded with. For these reasons, we believe that Yogi would be quite happy as an only dog.

Yogi walks well on the leash but he isn’t used to going for long walks so he just needs a bit of encouragement sometimes as he can be a little lazy.

Yogi does not enjoy car rides.

Yogi seems to be housebroken and uses pee pads or goes outside.  He has not had any accidents always using the pee pads. 

Yogi would do best in a home where his people are home most of the time.  Due to being left alone for very long hours in his previous home, he’s not a big fan of being left alone too long.

Yogi sleeps in a crate in his foster parent’s bedroom. Due to his needy nature he would probably be happier in the bed with his people but his foster parents are trying to stick with crate training him to try and help him learn how to self soothe.

Yogi is up to date on shots, neutered, micro chipped and had a recent dental.
