Winnie was one of 7 puppies in an accidental litter. Winnie’s dad is a beautiful solid black doxie and her mom is red. Winnie’s mom had medical issues during and after giving birth to the litter so never wanted to nurse the 7 puppies. The owner hand fed all puppies until they were 5 weeks old and able to eat solid food. She then contacted rescue to ask if we would take 5 of the 7 puppies as she planned to keep the other 2.
Winnie and her 4 brothers have done very well considering their start in life. And now Winnie is the last of the 5 to be looking for her forever home. Winnie has been in 2 foster homes and both of them are homes where other dogs have snuggled and cuddled with Winnie. So a home with another small friendly dog would be great. Winnie is actually in a home with a very large Great Dane and loves her.
Winnie is a puppy so requires continuous training. She does very well with puppy pads and can still learn to potty outside. She’s a high energy puppy so she needs lots of attention. She is a very affectionate snuggly little girl.
Winnie is up to date on shots, and micro chipped. She is not yet spayed. She will be spayed prior to adoption if she is not too long before being adopted.
