Meet Roșie! This beautiful girl was given to rescue because her senior owner could no longer care for her. Rosie was very sad to lose the only home she’s ever known and has taken a while to adjust to a new environment. She now has other dogs to play with in her foster home and gets along well with them so another small friendly dog for her to play with would be best. Rosie will do best in a home with another doxie since she’s never been an only dog.
Rosie is fine around kids. She has no fear of men and no food aggression.
Rosie has separation anxiety so needs a home where someone will be with her most of the time. She does not like being left alone so whines and cries. Rosie loves going for walks and is excellent on a leash.
As far as housebreaking, she goes outside when someone is with her but does not like being outside alone. So if you forget to go out with her, she will go in the house.
Rosie is very loving and sweet, listens well, and is a really nice dog. She just needs the right home to be patient with her and understand her issues. Her previous mom calls regularly to check on her, so I know they miss each other.
Rosie is located in Southern California. We do not do out of state adoptions.
