Meet little (not so little) Miss Rosie. Rosie has a sad history being owned by someone who abused her, kicked her and didn’t take good care of her. Someone came along and took Rosie (not her original name) away and kept her for a short time. When that person could no longer keep Rosie, I was contacted by someone who knew Rosie’s history. We gladly agreed to take Rosie in and give her the care she deserves.
When Rosie first came into our rescue, she was fearful of women (her original owner was a female) and very hand shy. She would cringe and cower if anyone tried to pet her. After being in her current foster home, Rosie suddenly realized she was no longer going to be mistreated and opened up to being petted. Rosie went from being a hand shy dog, to a silly girl who likes to dance and do zoomies. Now her tail happily wags, and she makes her foster mom laugh. She has made a complete turnaround from the dog we took into our rescue.
So now Rosie is looking forward to her new forever home. She obviously needs a diet, and certainly a better diet than she was getting in her previous home. No table scraps for this girl!
Rosie is housebroken. She’s a fun little dog for anyone who is willing to give her some love and treat her with kindness. If you think you are that person, please complete an application for Rosie’s adoption.
Rosie is spayed, up to date on shots and microchipped.
