Raisin, previously Yuri, was rescued from the local shelter prior to being euthanized due to what looked like a horrible case of mange. An awesome vet who is an expert on skin issues offered to diagnose Raisin and treat her for free! What? When does that ever happen? Not only that, the vet tech offered to supply Raisin with the medication she would need until the end of the year! Her meds are not expensive if gotten at Costco, but she will need to stay on them. It turns out Raisin did not have mange but a bad allergy. With baths, treatments and meds, Riasin looks fabulous. Her foster mom has taken excellent care of her and now Raisin is ready for her new home.
So now a little about Raisin. Raisin is located in Southern California. She is housebroken, yay, and a super happy waggy dog. Her tails never stops wagging. She’s very sweet and likes to sit next to her person. She can be a bit dominant but has been great with the cat in the foster home. She is not a big barker but will alert you if someone is at the door. She loves walks and snacks are her favorite thing. Raisin would be a great companion for someone with no other dogs. She’d be great company and give someone a reason to go for walks.
Raisin is up to date on shots, microchipped and spayed.
