​Patches is a beautiful young male whose owner went into assisted living.  Patches lived with another female doxie, Brindi who’s also up for adoption.  Patches and Brindi were not bonded so there is no reason to keep them together.  Patches could probably be adopted as an only dog.   

Patches is a pretty low key doxie enjoys sitting on your lap.  Amazingly, he is housebroken.  The only negative issue with Patches is he’s very food aggressive.  He will growl and guard food even though he doesn’t start fights.  He needs to eat in a separate room from any other dogs and food cannot be left unattended when he’s around.  

Patches does have some separation anxiety which is normal when dogs are removed from the only home they’ve ever known.  Patches uses the doggie door and enjoys his outdoor time.

Patches is up to date on shots but has not been microchipped yet.  That will be done prior to his adoption.  

​Patches is located in southern CA and will only be adopted in the general CA area as I deliver my dogs to their new homes and there’s only so far I can drive.

An approved application is required for Patches adoption.
