Lulu and Layla
Coat: Long Hair
Age: 2 years
Size: 12 pounds
Lulu and Layla are a bonded pair of sisters that need to be adopted together. Purchased as puppies, 1 day apart, they were kept outside all day with no human time or attention. At night they were brought inside and put in a big crate together. There was no human contact, no training, not much of anything except they had each other. Their owner asked me to take them because their barking woke up the baby she was fostering. Understandable. I’m glad she didn’t take them to the shelter.
The girls have been in a foster home for several weeks. Housebreaking and indoor manners are something they still need to learn. These sweet girls need time, patience and lots more training. They are only 2 years old so there is lots of time to get these girls trained the way they need to be. The girls are easily excitable, even getting excited just hearing human voices. They were totally unfamiliar with a leashes but enjoyed going for a walk even though they kept getting tangled up in their leashes.
The girls need a patient loving home willing to give them the time and training they need. This will not happen over night. They have learned several things in the past few months but still need more help.
Both Lulu and Layla are spayed and microchiped.
