Lucy is an adorable dapple puppy. But like any puppy she is busy and gets into all kinds of things. She is not potty trained so she needs someone who will give her the time and training she needs at this young age. Her use of the pee pads is a hit and miss. She is playful, likes toys, has learned to use the doggy door, likes to be held, but does not like being left alone for long periods. She’s used to being with her brother Linus. It would be nice if she had a young small playful dog to keep her company and teach her the ropes. Without another dog for company, Lucy needs someone who will be home with her most of the time until she is older and able to be left on her own. At this stage of her life, she would get into chewing wires, or other things that could harm her. But a home where she is confined most of the time is not good either. She is very energetic, and busy and loves to run around. Puppies are wonderful and special but they take a lot of time and need a lot of attention in order for them to grow up to be the wonderful dogs they can be. She does sleep through the night once the lights are out.
If you think you are up for the energy of a small puppy, please fill out the application on the website. All applications will be reviewed and considered for the best home for a puppy.
Lucy needs one more shot in her puppy series on 12/29/17 and a rabies shot when she’s old enough. She is not spayed but her new family will have to sign an agreement to have her spayed when she is old enough.
