CeeCee is one of 10 dogs that were removed from a hoarder situation. None of the dogs were spayed or neutered and all dogs taken to the shelter were 7 years old or older. The dogs are loving, sweet, and have wonderful soft coats.
CeeCee is now spayed and has had her teeth cleaned. She is a sweet, wonderful lap dog. She is fostered in a home with several other doxies, and a terrier, both males and females. Everyone gets along fine. CeeCee did show too much interest in the only cat she ever met.
This beautiful, sweet girl deserves a wonderful loving home with or without other dogs. However, she is used to living with dogs. She is a bit selfish when it comes to lap time.
CeeCee is up to date on shots, microchipped and ready for her new home.

Special Needs Update:
CeeCee had been in a foster home for several weeks when she started vomiting regularly. A vet visit discovered she has mega esophagus. This is an illness where the dog has to be fed in an upright position and kept that way for at least 15 to 20 minutes after eating. CeeCee is on meds to help with her situation. She needs to eat in a “Bailey chair” (pictured above) which will go with her when she is adopted or put into a permanent foster home. She has been eating out of this chair for several weeks and is used to it.
We realize this is a challenging situation but CeeCee is a sweet girl who deserves a chance at a normal life.
Rescue will be responsible for CeeCees meds for as long as she needs them as they are not cheap.
If you are interested in helping this sweet girl onto the next phase of her life, please complete the application to adopt or long-term foster.
